Journal Entry 7


Activity: 

-Working on project C

-Implementing event structure, weapon equipping, survivor management (work in progress)

-Ending (death and 5th day)

-3 weapons were added and few events (Tutorial/introduction , smg cabinet, first weapon, pistol box)

Notes:

-bugs with weaponry (reloading after ending the day)

-warnings about creating classes with monobehaviour, solved it by rewriting the code so monobehaviour is only on the object that is spawned and it takes information from specific circuloid, so it has to be in some way identical.

-still missing some written out options, probably will solve it by writing it all out, from the posibble paths, so i dont have to write the options manually for every event, but also it might get rid of posibble secrets.

-(by default for final parts of events you can go with "continue" and in menu by default you can use "return" to get back, also "turnoff" in the main menu will start the defense scene)

- There is a bug where if player doesnt have eqquiped weapon the game wont work properly in defense scene.

- Realized that it would be nice to have at least some kind of text to speech, might try to implement it later, also visuals could be nicer

- Feedback i got after the trailer, was around the console, changing it could be nice, but visualy it would need to look like a computer, will probably get to that after i implement other features (survivors (roles,equipment), events, weapon crafting, base upgrading, visual upgrade of )

- changed size increase based on more linear approach, before it was done by division.

- still dont really know about soundtrack if i should put it from the trailer or make smth different for defense and console.

Invested hours: 

- a lot, didnt really count it, but probably at least over 10 hours.
